Birchwood is a guest house in the beautiful village of Balmaha on the eastern shores of Loch Lomond – the perfect location for walkers on the West Highland Way or for a short break away from it all.
The guest lodge has seven en suite rooms which can be configured as double or twin rooms – whichever you prefer.
Our free kitchen facility offers all you need to prepare your own meals.
The rooms are much more than a bedroom. The unique design offers a flexible space and converts from a sitting area suitable for playing games, enjoying a snack or simply relaxing with friends.
For walkers arriving with wet clothes, each room features a heated drying rail and hanging area.
Birchwood’s ventilation system means there’s no condensation or odours even when drying wet clothes and, better still, provides ventilation without the need to open the window…which keeps the midgies at bay in the summer months!
